Security services in South Sinai in coordination with the elders of the Bedouin tribes succeeded on Tuesday 21/5/2013 to release an abducted businessman in Sinai by unknown assailants who was riding a car without license plates and carrying weapons.

Abducted Egyptian soldiers released, Rafah crossing open
Armed Forces Spokesman Ahmed Mohamed Ali announced on Wednesday 22/5/2013 the Seven officers abducted in Sinai are freed through collaboration efforts among tribal chiefs, residents and military intelligence. The official source added that the Egyptian border with Gaza is open now.
