The defaming of Islam and Prophet Mohamed – peace be upon him- by Danish and Norwegian newspapers contradicts all laws of freedom of expression, which these countries are said to call for. However, it is obvious that they support racism and extremism. It further contradicts the code of journalism, which aims at bringing the world together rather than pulling it apart.
The problem is not the crime committed by the Scandinavian journalists, it is the passive stance adopted by the Danish and Norwegian governments and their insistence not to apologize.
Now, it is time for the Islamic world to move and react to defend its religion. No Muslim is to be blamed for boycotting these two countries, politically, economically and socially thus establishing the Muslim world's ability to protect its religion and dignity.
We need to thank Christian institutions and organizations which condemned the attitude proving that the concepts they embrace about civilization are unreal.
