Coastal libraries in Mersa Matrouh

The Governorate of Mersa Matrouh is presently in the process of establishing several coastal libraries to be used by children and young people under the mantra of the "Reading for All" Festival in August and September.

Each such library includes around 2000 books covering all branches of knowledge. The experiment seeks to inculcate the habit of reading amongst both its residents and visitors.

If successful, the experiment will be universalized throughout the country's coastal cities.
