Ministry of Environment in Reading-For-All Festival
14 - 8 - 2006

In cooperation with the State Information Service, the Ministry of the Environment is to organize a number of workshops and seminars in public libraries as well as cross-country trips to natural reserves.

The seminars will deal with issues such as air pollution; ways of processing waste; rationalizing consumption and protecting natural resources with the focus being on young people's role. Library visitors will also be trained on using waste matter to create pieces of art or environmental mock-ups. They will also learn how to use sea shells innovatively. These creations will be put on display at an exhibition to be held early in September.

A mural on love and peace will also be painted with the assistance of art students.
