Museum of Anwar el-Sadat opened in Giza

Gihan el-Sadat, wife of late Egyptian Anwar el-Sadat, inaugurated on el-Sadat museum at Pharaonic Village in Giza.

Emerging from the opening ceremony, Mrs. Sadat voiced happiness for the influx of visitors wishing to see the museum.

She expressed hope that young Egyptians and children would be able to visit the museum to know more about the Sadat era.

The opening ceremony was attended by presidential political advisor Osama el-Baz, former foreign minister and Arab League Chief Esamt Abdul Maged, family members as well as Mona Abdel Naser, daughter of late President Gamal Abdel Nasser.

The Pharaonic Village is also hosting a museum for late President Gamal Abdel Nasser. Preparations are under way to establish another museum marketing Egypt's modern history and the family of Egyptian ruler Mohamed Ali.
