Mubarak and World leaders in economic forum at Sharm el-Sheikh

1000 dignitaries' men in fields of politics, economy, civil society and media participate in the Mideast international economic forum which will be held on 20th May 2006 at Sharm el-Sheikh.

President Hosni Mubarak will open the forum's meetings where the participants focus on the challenges and the obstacles which face the region including terrorism.

The 3-day forum tackles the companies' ability for international competition and many issues concerning law, peace, security, and the dialogue between the Islamic and Western worlds.

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Malaysian Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, Prince of Qatar Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, head of the Islamic conference, Qatar's Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad Bin Jasem, UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdalla bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Prince Turki al-Faysal, Head of the European Parliament in Brussel Joseph Uriel and Amr Moussa Arab League's Secretary-General, Egyptian Prime Minister Ahmed Nazif, Egyptian ministers of finance, investment, trade, industry, and foreign affairs will participate in the forum.

The Executive Manager for the International Economic Forum "Claus Shwab" confirmed the date of the forum at Sharm el-Sheikh and he added that the political and the economic leaders will decide a political, economic and social agenda for the region.
