President Hosni Mubarak's speech at the opening session of the World Economic Forum (WEF) was an overall review of the regional situation, future international efforts and the economic, social and political developments in Egypt, said Foreign Minister Ahmed Abul-Gheit.
He said that the speech took up the international economic situation, the impact of globalization and means of establishing peace and security.
Abul-Gheit highlighted the importance of holding the economic forum in Sharm el-Sheikh, noting many international economic and political issues would be raised during the event.
