The Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Nazif confirmed in the inauguration of the forum named "the combination of the communications and information technology", that Egypt has great investments in communications and information sector.

Minister of Communication and Information Technology, Dr. Tarek Kamel said that Egypt is about to enter mobile 3rd generation services in the coming year and willing to make unified networks to transfer sound, image and video.

He added that the quick internet initiative restructuring will announced soon and will lead to increase in the participants.

Minister of Information Anas El-Fiki said that he is agreeing on this merge for developing the Egyptian society, providing new opportunities for private sector's investments.

He confirmed the role of the private sector in media which will provide media products needed by the Arab World.

Task forces are forming currently between Information and communication and Information Ministry for studying the open law for organizing broadcasting.
