Dr. Abdel Shakour Sha'alan, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) board member and representative of the Arab countries group in IMF, said there are important achievements on the level of economic reform in Egypt, referring to the great confidence in the performance of economy as the government has a clear vision, openness and full transparency in dealing with different regional issues.
He affirmed that the measures taken by the Egyptian government for decreasing taxes and tariffs, programs of banking reform and privatization were received with great appreciation by the IMF, as such procedures support competition and promote investment.
