Mubarak urges Algeria to shoulder responsibility of protecting Egyptians
 
 
President Hosni Mubarak entrusted Foreign Minister Ahmed Abul-Gheit with summoning Algerian ambassador to Egypt Abdul-Kader Hajjar to convey to him Egypt's demands that Algeria take full responsibility for the protection of Egyptians and various Egyptian establishments and interests there.

Net int'l reserves up dlrs 2.2 bln in September--CBE
 
Net international reserves (NIR) with the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) rose by dlrs 2.2 billion to dlrs 33.5 billion at the end of September, from dlrs 31.3 billion at the end of June, the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) said in its monthly statistical bulletin.
