The ancient Egyptian civilization is adored by the French people who always seek for discovering secrets in this great civilization. The latest French discovery was recomposition of an approximate image for Tut-Ankh-Amun’s face.
The French magazine "Le Figaro" published a detailed report on this discovery which was also circulated in all international and regional magazines were interested in this issue.
The report shows the great role which was played by the team who were working in the Egyptian mummy project.
The team work was divided to three groups; Egyptian, French and American one. The Egyptian group took about 1700 photos for the skull which was in a bad condition. They used the ultra-sound technique and feed the computer with detailed information for the mummy’s gender, age, upper jaw and more than one portrait about the face. At last they got approximate image for Tut-Ankh-Amun face.
"Le Figaro" mentioned that both the Egyptian and the French groups had known the mission carried out while the American group did not know and this affected the final result for the three groups. The final result for the three groups was similar in Tut-Ankh-Amun basic feature (the skull, face and the eyes). After this last discovery there is no doubt that there is a relationship between Tut-Ankh-Amun and Akhnaton.
The three groups discovered that the young Pharaoh had a break in his left thigh which might have caused his death.
The attempt will not stop at rebuilding Tut’s face but the attempt will reach the other Egyptian mummies because this may help in discovering more secrets about the ancient Egyptian civilization.
