Information Minister invites Arab countries to participate in Arab Media Festival

Egyptian Information Minister Anas el-Fiqqi held on 12/5/2008 a meeting with the members of the Higher Committee for Cairo Arab Media Festival to discuss the preparatory measures for the 14th Cairo Arab Media Festival to be held in November 2008.

Anas el-Fiqqi said that the aim of the meeting is to present new ideas for the festival, adding that the Ministry of Information seeks to listen to all the ideas presented by the media men, academic professors and artists.

He said that the festival provides an appropriate opportunity to honor the distinguished artists and media men in Egypt and the Arab world.

He also invited all the Arab countries to participate in Arab Media Festival.

Saudi Arabia was chosen to be the honorary guest of the 14th Cairo Arab Media Festival to be held in November 2008, Egyptian Information Minister Anas el-Fiqqi said.
