Sixty-two ships from 33 countries transited the Suez Canal in two convoys on Thursday carrying 2.298 million tonnes of commodities.

The south-bound convoy comprised 29 ships from 15 countries carrying approximately 1.069 million tonnes. The north-bound convoy consisted of 33 ships from 18 countries and carried 1.299 million tonnes.
