Trade Minister: Food, fuel high prices due to inequality in intl trade

Egyptian Minister of Trade and Industry Rashid Mohammed Rashid said on Thursday 24//7/2008 that food and fuel high prices are due to inequality in international trade.

At a meeting with an Egyptian media delegation, Rashid noted that despite the faltering of WTO negotiations on some files, intensive efforts over the coming few days will help strike a balance between the interests of countries and the world trade order.

Reaching an agreement requires commitment by all parties of the principles that govern the WTO negotiations, he added.
