A Chinese government media delegation leaves today for Cairo on a several days' visit to Egypt for talks with Minister of Information Mamdouh Al-Beltagui and Minister of Culture Farouk Hosni.

    The Chinese delegation is to attend on October 18 the ceremonies to inaugurate the regional office of the China today magazine, which would be attended by the two ministers, Chinese ambassador in Cairo Wu Sike as well as ambassadors of Arab countries accredited in Cairo and a host of intellectuals.

    The regional office inauguration coincides with the 40th anniversary of the issuance of the Arabic version of China Today.
