President Mubarak, British official discuss Middle East developments

Mubarak probes with haririPresident Hosni Mubarak and visiting British Shadow Foreign Secretary William Hague discussed Wednesday 14/5/2008 the latest developments in the Middle East and efforts to revive the peace process.

Talks also tackled boosting bilateral relations and other regional and international issues of common interest.

In statements, the British shadow foreign secretary underlined Egypt's role in pushing forward Middle East peace process.

Hague, who is accompanied by a delegation of the British Conservatives Party, hoped Egypt's efforts to revive peace process would succeed.
