"Means of promoting Egyptian-Sudanese ties at the governmental, popular and party levels discussed ," Shura Council Speaker and Secretary General of the National Democratic Party (NDP) Safwat el-Sherif said during a meeting on Monday18/8/2008 with Sudanese presidential advisor Moustafa Othman Ismail.

Sherif hailed the brotherly and historical relationship between Egypt and Sudan, stressing the importance of integration between the two countries for the interest of both countries.
