Mubarak orders Egyptian planes to continue carrying aid to Ethiopia

Two Egyptian military planes carrying food aid took off Friday heading for Ethiopia according to directives given by President Honsni Mubarak on 5/9/2008.

The Egyptian Army has contributed tonnes of flour, macaroni, sugar and rice to help Addis Ababa cope with the crushing famine crisis in several areas of Ethiopia.

So far, four Egyptian jets have arrived in Ethiopia with humanitarian aid to the hunger-stricken areas
