Boosting bilateral relations between Egypt, Serbia

Foreign Minister Ahmed Abul-Gheit discussed on 7/9/2008 with his Serbian counterpart Fook Germik means of boosting bilateral relations, exchanging viewpoints on joint regional and international issues and the developments of the Serbian situation by announcing Kosovo's independence within the framework of Belgrade's efforts to mobilize international support concerning demanding the advisory opinion of how much Kosovo's independence announcement accords with the International Law.

The Foreign Ministry Spokesman said that Egypt is following these efforts in the light of the importance of the International Law issues and the situation in Balkan region which influence the stability of the Mediterranean countries and the Middle East in general.
