Minister of Tourism: One does not have to exclude the Pyramids wonder of the world

Zuhir Garanah, Minister of Tourism, declared that the pyramid over everyone and no one in the world has to exclude the last remaining wonder from the 7 wonders of the world.

At an international press conference the minister yesterday said before his meeting with 380 owners of tourist companies from Spain, Portugal, and North America that there is one pyramid in the world and which is largest of any competition and unbecoming to enter any competition with any old or new wonders.

A number of media representatives accompanying the foreign delegation asked the Minister about excluding the Egyptian pyramids from the New 7Wonders institute's referendum led by the Swiss businessman Bernard Wiper, and the result will be declared on next July 07 in the Portuguese Capital Barcelona.

The Minister cleared that the whole world adores the pyramids and travels thousands of miles to visit the Pyramids.

On the other hand, the Minister of Tourism Zuhir Garanah affirmed that the numbers of tourists in Egypt increased from one million tourist in 1981 to 9.1 million tourist in the last year.

He said that hotel power in Egypt reached 310.000 hotel rooms in the last year. This was during inaugurating of one of the big hotel projects by Minister of Tourism Garanah in Sharm El Shiek.
