The National Democratic Party (NDP) underlined the need for developing transport in Egypt.

          

A working paper submitted to the 9th NDP General Annual Congress on transport stressed the necessity to promote the transport system and improve the status of workers in this strategic domain.

          

It also underlined the need to upgrade railways infrastructure and develop 300 train stations in the coming four years.

          

The paper said that the government has drawn up a plan for restructuring Egypt Railways and for applying safety measures.
