President Mubarak 6/11/2007presided over a meeting by the NDP parliamentary body before the convening of the closing session of the 9th NDP congress.

During the meeting, the NDP parliamentary body unanimously approved the nomination of Dr. Ahmed Fathi Sorour as Speaker of the People's Assembly, Dr Zainab Radwan and Abdel Aziz Moustafa as two deputy speakers.
