NDP Secretary General Safwat al-Sherif said the assignments by President Mubarak to the National Democratic Party NDP and government would be immediately carried out, according to a clear timetable.
The NDP political body will be meeting on Monday to consider a report on the bills tackled by the NDP Congress for referring them to the People's Assembly, he added.
The General Secretariat of the NDP will meet next week to define the missions of the NDP moves for the stage to come and for the re-distribution of members of the governorates general secretariat as their number increased to reach 34 members.
The National Democratic Party is starting today the first year in its new party session which lasts for four years.
NDP Secretary General said the NDP is paying much attention to the well being of the Egyptian citizen and is seeking to achieve social justice as it is the main foundation of the party policies.
The party and government are adopting programmes to face poverty and support the most favored families, to enable them to make use of the returns of the development process, Sharif added.
In his statement Sherif said the NDP and government are paying much attention to the questions of national security in light of the instability witnessed by the Middle East.
The policies of the NDP and government are based on the move at a number of tracks including the Palestinian issue, the Iraq and Iran as well as means to promote relations with African countries, major powers and the International rising forces for serving the national development process.
