Egyptian-Polish cooperation is positive

The economic file tops the agenda of President Mubarak talks with Polish President Lech Kaczynski given the trade, economic and investment relations between Egypt and Poland. For its part, Egypt aims to boost cooperation with Poland in the fields of trade and agriculture given that Poland is one of the largest agricultural countries in Europe. In addition, Egypt works on injecting Polish investments into Egypt in different sectors and attracting more tourists who hit 350,000 so far.

In fact, Egypt and Poland should exert more efforts to promote their joint interests to reach high trade exchange rates in light of the improving economic status and the current recovery in the move of the world trade. Besides, Poland is an open market in Europe since it joined the EU in 2004. No doubt, Egypt has benefited from Poland's joining of the EU, particularly at the economic and trade levels given that the Polish markets are open before the Egyptian exports as stipulated in the Egyptian-EU Partnership Agreement. In fact, Mubarak's visit to Poland should be benefited from to boost the high political status Egypt enjoys in Warsaw.
