The Arabs replied to the US desire to participate effectively in the Annapolis parley despite their reservations on Israel's willingness to re-activate the peace process. The international community also replied to the US call and participated heavily in the parley where up to 50 countries and organizations took part in it. But, all this enthusiasm would be of no avail if the US did not unveil a clear-cut plan and tangible measures to keep the momentum of the peace march.
It is no longer a secret that Israel did not show any serious intention to solve the major issues of the peace file. Israel talked about desire and readiness to discuss the issues of settlements, Jerusalem and the return of refugees. Yet, if the situation remains so, no one should expect a real move in the peace march.
