Conf. of Egyptian women solidarity calls for immediate ceasefire in Lebanon, territories

The conference of Egyptian women's solidarity for saving Lebanon and supporting women and children in the crisis issued a final communiqué under the rubric "Together for Lebanon and Palestine" in which it called for working hard for the issuance of an immediate and comprehensive ceasefire resolution in Lebanon and the Palestinian territories. The final communiqué also called for forming an international investigation committee to probe the Israeli war crimes and violations and obliging Israel to compensate for all the damage it caused to infrastructure and the harm it caused to civilians.

The final statement voiced support for the Lebanese and Palestinian peoples and called on the UN, superpowers and the international community to put an end to the Israeli practices and stop its machine gun and warned that the Israeli offensive has become more like a genocide.

The final statement considered the Israeli aggression as war crimes and crimes against humanity for which the international law shall punish who proved to be responsible for such crimes before the international criminal judgment. The final statement called on the international organizations, NGOs, intellectuals and peace supporters around the world to shoulder their legal and normal responsibilities to put an end for the Israeli practices.
