Egyptian judges condemn Israel's aggression on Palestine, Lebanon

Egypt's judges condemned the brutal Israeli attacks on the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples. In a statement, the judges affirmed rejection of the so-called "new Middle East" which US President George W. Bush wanted to be free of Islamist thought.

They expressed belief that the popular resistance was the only means to protect the Arab nation and maintain its honour.

The Egyptian judges said it is no longer acceptable to describe the United States as a friendly country or a strategic ally in the region, after it has been demonstrated that it is the maker, supporter and main beneficiary of aggression on the Arab nation.

They lashed out at every attempt to pit Sunnis against Shias or Arab  Muslims against Arab Christians.

The statement was critical of those airing apprehension about a regional state - in reference to Iran - seeking nuclear technology for peaceful purposes, saying this was meant to ensure that the enemies of the nation had sole access to nuclear usages.
