Egyptian actor and superstar Hussein Fahmy has asserted that humanity will never condone the Israeli crimes committed against the Lebanese and the Palestinian peoples, nor will Arabs cede one inch of their territories. Fahmy said that since Arabs are strong they will ultimately prevail; what they need is only to unite and close ranks.

Fahmy, who has recently tendered his resignation as a UN ambassador of goodwill protesting Qana II, has lauded President Hosni Mubarak for his efforts to end the war in Lebanon. The Egyptian superstar said that Egypt has done what no other country could do. He explained that what counts is not statements issued but real action on the ground adding that no fair-minded person could deny Egypt's crucial role in handling the crisis.
