The Syndicate of Journalists has launched a fund-raising campaign for the Lebanese and Palestinian peoples.

Syndicate Secretary-General Yahia Qallash said that the syndicate invited the Egyptians to donate for the Lebanese and Palestinian peoples. He said all things are acceptable starting from cash to clothes.

He added that the donations will be ferried later to Beirut by an Egyptian ship.

The Trade Union has already collected one million pounds in cash and other supplies for the Lebanese people.
