"Egypt supports Lebanon and will not give up its role in taking part in the recon structure of this county which paid valued over the war on its people and capabilities,"said Minister of Awkaf Mahmoud Hamdi ZaqZouq on Wednesday 16/8/2006 during a meeting with the visiting Lebanon's Mufti Sheikh Mohammed Ali Al-Gawad.

He added that all parties concerned should work hard to fulfill the Lebanese people's interests and stability.
