161 Egyptians returned home back from Lebanon on Friday August 4 on a chartered plane from Damascus at state expense.

The Egyptian embassy in Beirut gave them all possible facilities to ensure their departure and issued travel documents for 24 of them after they had lost their passports because of Israeli air raids on Lebanon.
