Egyptians' evacuation from Lebanon continues


Egyptian Consul-General in Beirut Talal Fadli said evacuation of Egyptians from Lebanon continues.

Speaking to MENA, Fadli said aircraft delivering aid for the Lebanese people is being used in the evacuations.

The Egyptian embassy in Beirut has so for facilitated the evacuation of 15,000 Egyptians since the crisis started, according to the Egyptian diplomat said.

Lebanese women married to Egyptians were also evacuated by the embassy, he said, adding that immediate visas were issued for the Lebanese wives.

The remaining number of Egyptians who were not yet evacuated and had lost their homes were given shelter by the Lebanese authorities till they are evacuated, he said.
