The heinous crime which Israel committed yesterday against unarmed Lebanese civilians in Qana frankly expresses the reality of the aggressive Zionist entity and the violence, barbarianism and hatred which it represents not only against the Lebanese, the Palestinians and the Arabs, but against humanity in general. What happened in Qana expresses the ideology of a group of war criminals and enemies of humanity who commit heinous crimes and pay no heed to the international law, Geneva Convention or even moral and human values.
As if it were not enough that Israel destroyed all aspects of life in Lebanon in the last weeks, so it added another crime being the most horrible by all means. Added to the shedding of blood of innocent civilians throughout the past days, Israel brutally murdered children who sought refuge with their mothers in a building in Qana. By doing so, Israel repeats the same crime in Qana after it committed a similar crime in 1996 which left 100 killed.
In the circumstances, where is the international community? Where is the international legitimacy? Where are laws and norms? The whole world, and the super power in particular, has let Israel kill the Palestinian people, destroy Gaza then go to Lebanon to kill the Lebanese people and destroy Lebanon's infrastructure under groundless pretexts of capturing an IDF soldier in Gaza and two in Lebanon.
What happened in Qana clearly confirms that the whole world has no longer conscience given that it is never affected by the continued series of the Israeli war crimes in Gaza and Lebanon. What happened is a sin which the UN, the UN Security Council and the international community as a whole bear responsibility for as they all keep silent concerning Israel's brutal crimes which take place under the protection of the major power in the world. The blood of the children shed in Qana and other Lebanese territories is the responsibility of the Israeli criminal and those protecting it and delaying the issuing of an immediate ceasefire resolution to halt these massacres.
