Egypt renews warning of fall out from continued Israeli aggression on Lebanon, Palestine

Egypt renewed its warning of the dire consequences of continuing Israel's aggresison on the Palestinian and Lebanese territories.It affirmed that Israel's recent escalation stressed the need of dealing with the social and economic consequences resulting from the aggression.

Ambassador Sameh Shukri, Egypt's permanent delegate to the United Nations headquarters in Geneva, said before a meeting of the UN Social and Economic Council, that the recent escalation affirmed the necessity of dealing with the consequences of the aggression to improve living conditions of people in the region.

The meeting focused on discussing the economic and social problems resulting from Israel's aggression on Palestine and Lebanon.

The ambassador reviewed, in a statement, the destructive consequences resulting from Israel's aggression, destruction of the infrastructure, construction of the wall of separation in the Palestinian territories and the collective punishment in Palestine and Lebanon.
