Foreign Minister Ahmed Abul-Gheit stressed on the need for investigating the Israeli excesses during the Israeli aggression on Lebanon.
Commenting on the accusation by Amnesty International of Israel of perpetrating war crimes in Lebanon, Foreign Minister Abul-Gheit said this accusation confirms the soundness of the Egyptian moves for making international investigation into the Israeli practices.
He said international silence over the Israeli practices is unjustified.
On the other hand, Mohamed Fanish, Lebanese Minister of Electricity and the representative of Hezbollah to the government has welcomed the Egyptian delegation sent by the Ministry of Electricity for discussing damages the Lebanese grid has suffered as a result of the Israeli aggression on Lebanon.
He hailed the Egyptian efforts for rehabilitating power network in south Lebanon.
Egyptian Consul General in Lebanon Tallal Fadly, said President Mubarak is personally following up the activity of the delegation.
