President Hosni Mubarak on Saturday received a message from Sultan Qaboos Bin Said of Oman.

The president received the message during his meeting in Ras El-Tein Palace with Dr. Omar Al-Zawae, the special advisor to Sutlan Qaboos.
Foreign Minister Ahmed Abul Gheit will visit Syria at instructions from President Hosni Mubarak.

Abul Gheit will meet his Syrian counterpart Walid Al-Mualim to exchange viewpoints on the current Lebanese crisis.

Abul Gheit reported to Mubarak Saturday on a meeting hosted by the Italian capital Rome to help defuse the crisis.
