President Hosni Mubarak received a telephone call from Lebanese Prime Minister Fouad Seniora in which he expressed Lebanon's gratitude for the strong-worded statement released by Cairo early Sunday condemning the Israeli assault on Qana.

Seniora voiced appreciation of Egypt's continued assistance to the Lebanese people.
