Lebanese Prime Minister Fouad Siniora expressed his appreciation for President Mubarak, his government and the Egyptian people for their support to Lebanon during the ordeal of the aggression.

 

 In statements to Sout el-Arab Radio on August 3, 2006, Siniora confirmed the importance of the visit paid by Foreign Minister Ahmed Abul Gheit to Lebanon yesterday where he posted the Lebanese officials on the current contacts to reach a ceasefire.
