President Hosni Mubarak phoned Saturday5/8/2006 Lebanese Prime Minister Fouad Seniora.
The conversation tackled the statusquo in Lebanon in view of the current war between Israel and Hizbullah.

Mubarak and Seniora stressed the importance of reaching an immediate and unconditional ceasefire.

Up to 900 people, mostly civilians were killed in Lebanon since the war began on July 12.
