Mrs Suzanne Mubarak;, the Chairwomen of the Suzanne Mubarak International Woman's Peace Movement (SMIWPM), underlined on Thursday that the 'current "tragic events in the region strengthened our insistence on achieving peace".
Delivering a word at a forum under the title "Youth for Peace", Mrs Mubarak said peace is a lofty goal and a climate created by security, stability, understanding, dialogue and tolerance.
She further stressed the importance of inter-cultural dialogue in dispelling doubts and promoting trust among world nations, a matter that would create an international peace atmosphere.
Mrs Suzanne Mubarak asserted on Thursday that she felt the thirst of youth of different nationalities for talking about peace, a matter that reflected their full understanding of the importance of dialogue, tolerance and acceptance of the other.
In statements after taking part in the forum Mrs Mubarak said that what she sensed, during her tour of a workshop "Culture, Peace Language", the importance of spreading the culture of peace, a matter that "made us feel that we are shouldering a big responsibility towards youth".
She went on to say "what we achieved in this respect was just a humble start, voicing keenness on making the culture of peace a part of the general culture of youth. The workshop was organised by the Egyptian National Council for Youth.
