President Hosni Mubarak today phoned Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin. The conversation focused on the Middle East peace process and means of enhancing bilateral ties. Meanwhile, Mubarak is set to receive a message from Sudanese President Omar Al Bashir on the latest developments in the Middle East. The message will be delivered by Ali Othman Taha, Sudan's Second Vice-President, who will lead his country's delegation to the Egypt-Sudan joint committee meetings, set to kick off in Cairo next Saturday. Egypt's delegation to the meeting will be led by Prime Minister Ahmad Nazif. |
