Mubarak greets Arab, Muslim peoples on Eid Al-Fitr
President Hosni Mubarak greeted on Wednesday the Egyptian citizens on the advent of Eid Al-Fitr and the beginning of the Muslim calendar month of Shawwal.
Speaking to the Egyptian television, the President cited some of his memories in the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.
Mubarak said he was planning to spend sometime in the Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh.
President Mubarak also greeted the Arab and Muslim peoples on the Muslim occasion, calling for closing ranks to meet the uphill challenges on the world arena.
Speaking to Al-Ahram daily on the advent of Eid Al-Fitr, Mubarak expressed hope to meet the aspirations of the Egyptian people and achieve further improvement in the citizens' living standards.
