Mubarak discusses developments in Lebanon with Hariri
President Hosni Mubarak Wednesday had talks with Saad Al Hariri, head of the Future Current Bloc at the Lebanese Chamber of Deputies on the latest developments on the Lebanese arena and Arab as well as international political and economic support that Lebanon needs at the present stage," said Presidential Spokesman Suleiman Awwad.
Emerging from a meeting with Arab League Secretary-General Amr Moussa, Hariri said that Egypt has always stood by Lebanon. He said he discussed with President Mubarak the threats Lebanon is facing after the assassination of his father Rafiq Al Hariri.
Saad Al Hariri began a visit to Egypt Wednesday for talks with a number of Egyptian officials.
