Mubarak, Chirac discuss Syrian-Lebanon developments

President Hosni Mubarak received a phone call Friday from French President Jacques Chirac.

The conversation focused on the region's pressing issues, particularly the situations in Syria and Lebanon.

Meanwhile, the Lebanese Future Parliamentary Bloc Leader Saad Hariri said that his meeting with President Hosni Mubarak in Cairo recently reflected the Egyptian Leader keenness on maintaining stability in Lebanon.
 
During a TV interview Thursday, Saad Hariri, said that there was a need for establishing an international tribunal for those behind his father's murder.
 
There would be no secret deals in this regard, he averred. Hariri further called for launching a national dialogue to solve Lebanon's problems and cement national unity.
