Presdient Hosni Mubarak and Mrs Mubarak inaugurated on Monday morning in Shubra al Khaima in northern Cairo Mohamed Ali Pasha Palace which was restored, renovated and turend into a venue for holding national official welcoming celebrations for Egypt's distinguished guests. A group of Egyptian artists in addition to few foreign experts worked to restore the palace built in 1808. President and Mrs Mubarak arrived at1100 hrs at the palace; whose renovation cost some L.E. 50 million and restoration work took up to five years. |
