The proceedings of the Fourth Annual Congress of the National Democratic Party (NDP) will open on September 19, 2006. President Mubarak will deliver a major political speech at the closing session of the three-day congress which will wrap up on Thursday.
The congress will discuss the accomplishments made by the government in implementing his electoral platform.
The congress will discuss 28 work papers on education development, encouraging investment, labor health care and extending health insurance umbrella to all citizens.
The NDP held an organizing session attended by the members of the Secretariat General, NDP leaderships in governorates and party units.
