Secretary of NDP Media Committee Dr. Aliedeen Hilal said Sunday that the NDP elections have witnessed a heavy turnout.

Elections of the NDP started on Saturday at the level of 7,555 partisan units, including 50% for workers and farmers and two seats for women and two others for youths.

The main aim of the elections is to elect cadres who are able to exert more efforts for achieving development and reform, said a message addressed to all governorates by NDP Secretary-General Safwat El-Sherif.
