"The NDP annual congress will be held on Nov. 3 and elect its new chairman," Minister of Legal Affairs and Parliamentary Councils and National Democratic Party (NDP) Assistant Secretary General for Parliamentary Affairs Mufid Shehab said Tuesday in press statements.

Shehab added intensive activities will take place at the NDP central and grassroot levels due to the under way elections at the grassroot as well as higher leaderships.

The meeting will also tackle achievements of the NDP over the past five years and follow up fulfillments of President Hosni Mubarak electoral pledges.
