Secretary of the Women Committee of the National Democratic Party (NDP) Aisha Abdel Hadi said Sunday 26/8/2007 that rate of women membership of the NDP scored a rise by 13 per cent until last week according to the figures shown by the incumbent NDP units' elections.

She expressed hope that the figure will go up as a remarkable women turnout was clear. On the other hand, the elections entered the second week with a big turnout by candidates and voters nationwide.
