NDP Secretary-General: We are concerned on applying the highest levels of transparency and integrity

NDP Secretary-General, Safwat al-Sherif stressed on 2/9/2007 the necessity of carrying on and continuing NDP elections on the level of partiality units with the same spirit of the elections that occurred during the past two weeks. He also assured facing any deviation from discipline and compliance with the rules that determine the method and procedures of the electoral process.

Al-Sherif focused on applying the highest levels of transparency and integrity in electoral process, in the implementation of the directives of President Hosni Mubarak, chairman of the party.

Reports of members of the Secretariat of the party observers for the electoral process confirmed the intense competition in the popular units, especially after attempts by some deputies to intervene to support some candidates, but some delegates of the central secretariat of the organization faced these attempts.
